Zainab graduated from The University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Psychology in 2002. She worked as a Peer Counsellor supporting women and youth in the greater Vancouver area until her return to UBC for a Bachelor of Education in 2004. Zainab graduated with a specialization in English education in 2006 and has been a teacher in the Surrey School District since that time. 

 

In her free time, Zainab can be found exploring the newest shopping district and feeding her coffee addiction. She loves to travel and hopes to teach abroad in the future.
