Reenal Patel graduated with her Master's of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia, previously completing her Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University. Her post graduate education also includes level 1 with the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. ​

 

Growing up, Reenal played many sports including soccer, basketball and volleyball which furthered her interest in working as a physiotherapist. Throughout her academic career, she experienced working with a variety of populations and age groups including varsity athletes, patients at BC Children’s Hospital and those involved in motor vehicle collisions. This funnelled her interest towards post-op patients, paediatrics, and athletics. Her treatment approach includes manual therapy and exercise prescription and believes education is a very important aspect in her patients' trajectory to achieve the best possible outcomes.

 

In her spare time, she enjoys weightlifting, exploring the outdoors, and playing pretty much any sport.
