Nate Soer
Kinesiologist

Nate completed his degree of Kinesiology in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of British Columbia in 2019 after starting at Douglas College. Born and raised in Coquitlam, Nate graduated high school from Centennial in 2014. Growing up, he played lacrosse for the Coquitlam Adanacs and volleyball for Focus and Centennial. While playing for Focus, he won a national bronze medal.

After an injury, he found his passion for fitness and personal improvement in his first year at Douglas, which inspired him to obtain his degree in Kinesiology. He further pursued his interests in nutrition and psychology during this time. His passion for fitness also brought him back to Focus as a volleyball coach for the 2016 and 2017 seasons.

During his free time, Nate is usually in the gym working out or in front of his laptop researching the newest diet or gym technique. He plans on continuing his education through self study and acquiring his certifications in Personal Training and Functional Movement Screening
